In the previous lesson we talked about the natural minor scale and I also told ya bout the existence of the Harmonic Minor Scale. Well this is going to be a very short lesson, because the harmonic minor is pretty similar to the natural minor, there's just a tiny small difference.
What happens is we take the 7th note and increase its pitch by a semitone. So, the gap between the 6th and the 7th degree ( degree is the same as note, I am just refreshing your memory) become 1 Tone + 1 Semitone.
So, what was originally : A B C D E F G A
Becomes : A B C D E F G# A
So the new tone - semitone pattern is : Root + T + S + T + T + S + (T+S) + S
(T -> Tone, S -> Semitone)
Here's the Harmonic A minor Going up and down.
Yah, I am bored . See ya next time
PEACE ! 🎼 👈 that’s a treble clef btw :)
