In a previous lesson, we had talked about playing tonic triads which are simply a group of 3 notes(basically a chord), played at the same time.
What will happen if we go on to play each note of a chord like this separately with small time intervals.Well, that's how you get an ARPEGGIO.
An arpeggio is made by breaking up a chord and playing the notes individually. There are different types of arpeggios and for the beginner level, we are only concerned with a one-octave arpeggio, which is made up by breaking up a tonic triad and adding another tonic or doh of a different register.
I know you didn't understand it, hopefully this helps you : (IGNORE THE TIME SIGNATURE)
This is an one-octave arpeggio of the F major tonic triad that's going up then down.
This is an one-octave arpeggio of the G major tonic triad that's going down then up.
